The National Ambulance Center (CAN), sent us its summary statistical report, of the pre-hospital management of the various emergency cases carried out by the Center during the month of February 2023.

Of the 730 cases handled by the CAN in February 2023 (-12.15% compared to the previous month https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-38796-icihaiti-health-report-of-the-national-ambulance-center-january-2023.html ), 29% were transfers, 20% obstetrical emergencies, 12% trauma...

Types of interventions:

9 suspected cholera cases;

4 confirmed cholera cases;

60 cases of respiratory distress (not associated with Covid-19);

14 cases of chronic diseases (various pathologies);

146 obstetric emergencies;

71 Accidents on Public Roads;

215 transfers (references & laboratory tests);

87 traumas (injuries & fractures of varying degrees);

7 bullet wounds;

35 stab wounds;

82 various conditions (malaise, diarrhoea, fever, anemia, abdominal pain, etc.).

Of the 730 cases handled by the CAN: 453 interventions took place in the West, 55 in the Artibonite, 61 in the North / North-East, 63 in the South-East, 71 in the North-West, 11 in the South and 16 in Nippes
