The National Ambulance Center (CAN), sent us its summary statistical report, of the pre-hospital management of the various emergency cases carried out by the Center during the month of January 2023.

Of the 831 cases handled by the CAN in January 2023 (+52.57% compared to the previous month https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-38632-icihaiti-health-report-of-the-national-ambulance-center-december-2022.html ), 31% were transfers, 21% obstetrical emergencies, 11% various conditions...

Types of interventions :

26 suspected cholera cases;

12 confirmed cholera cases;

63 cases of respiratory distress (not associated with Covid-19);

33 cases of chronic diseases (various pathologies);

177 obstetric emergencies;

64 Public Road Accidents;

257 transfers (references & laboratory tests);

87 traumas (injuries & fractures of varying degrees);

10 bullet wounds;

10 stab wounds;

92 various conditions (malaise, diarrhoea, fever, anemia, abdominal pain, etc.).
