iciHaiti - Diaspora : Night of poetry and Haitian gastronomy in Madrid
As every year, on March 20, the International Day of La Francophonie is celebrated around the world, both in French-speaking countries and in those where the French language is less widespread.

On March 21 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the theater of the French Institute in Madrid (Spain), during the Night of Poetry. We will celebrate the International Day of La Francophonie with the slammer Jérôme Pinel and his readings of poems in French accompanied by his pianist and his guitarist.

Between readings of poems, songs and musical interludes, the public is invited to celebrate the diversity of French-speaking poetry by listening to texts by authors from Andorra, Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, France, Haiti, Lebanon, Morocco, Romania, Senegal, Switzerland and Tunisia. The ambassadors of the countries participating in the Night of Ideas will read a poem from their country.

The public will also have the opportunity to go on stage and read texts of their choice during an "open stage."

Gastronomic evening:
Participants will discover the gastronomy of certain French-speaking countries and will be able to learn about their culture and tourism (Tunisian stands, Haitian specialties, etc...)
