Following a complaint filed by officials of the "Kizito Family" religious community, made up of several shelters for vulnerable children, agents of the Brigade for the Protection of Minors (BPM), a specialized entity of the Central Police Department Judiciary (DCPJ) arrested Difrance Gamby for his involvement in the sexual abuse of more than ten minors, male, aged between 11 and 17 years.

Under this complaint, Gamby, who worked in this religious institution, was denounced for having sexually abused and raped numerous minors.

Convened to the DCPJ, after his hearing and the confirmation of the facts of which he is accused by the medical examinations required in the circumstances, Gamby, who also worked in several shelters, in particular in Lizon, Delmas 31 and Cité Soleil, was placed in police custody pending his referral to the court having jurisdiction in the matter.
