Thursday, November 23, 2023, at Terminal II in Quartier Morin operated by "Cap Terminal S.A." (CTSA), customs officers from the Port of Cap-Haitien office accompanied by agents from the Office for Combating Drug Trafficking (BLTS) during the verification of the container TCNU 613716-7, discovered and seized 5 boxes of ammunition contraband (2 boxes of 50 cartridges of 9mm caliber and 3 boxes of 25 cartridges of 12 caliber) hidden in the goods.

This container was transported to Haiti on November 8, aboard the ship "Sara Express" from the United States, sailing under the flag of Antigua & Barbuda.

A certain Daniel Michel was identified as the sender of the container on behalf of Vision Import-Export and Logistics. After the container was fully inspected and sealed, a person identified as Louis Jackson was arrested for questioning.
