The various hospital services of the Work Accident, Sickness and Maternity Insurance Office (OFATMA) of Cité militaire are now 100% operational. Policyholders can now go there. Outpatient clinic services are also available to provide the uninsured public with the appropriate care their cases require.

Those responsible for the institution finally found a solution to prevent the uninterruption of services and guarantee the right to health care for all Haitians as stipulated in article 19 of the Haitian Constitution.

News that delights policyholders and the external public of OFATMA who were affected by the interruption of services. According to information provided by the Medical Department, the hospital receives on average 70 to 80 patients per day for the surgery, urology, orthopedics, internal medicine, ophthalmology, pediatrics and dialysis services.

Dr. Carl François, Director General of OFATMA reiterates his commitment to employees, affiliated companies and policyholders with a view to guaranteeing the smooth running of OFATMA as a system of the Haitian State in terms of social security.
