Monday, December 11, 2023, the Prime Minister a.i., Ariel Henry, visited the General Administration of Customs (AGD), where he had a meeting with the Director General, Julcène Édouard and technical directors around the functioning of the AGD.

At the end of this meeting Ariel Henry went to meet employees of various customs services to congratulate them on their dynamism, their performance, their commitment and their sense of responsibility in the services provided to users, as civil servants and public servants.

Thanks to the Government's customs reforms, the State managed to considerably increase tax revenues https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-34162-haiti-flash-president-jovenel-moise-assassinated-by-mercenaries-official-updated-7am-+-video.html and to provide itself with more financial resources thanks to which civil servants are paid on time and the National Police are equipped.

Henry renewed the Government's confidence in the General Administration of Customs, as well as its determination to continue reforms, while encouraging employees to maintain the image of a strong, modern, honest, efficient and effective customs administration at the service from the country.
