iciHaiti - Obituary : Passing of Professor Antoine Lambert

The Rectorate of the State University of Haiti (UEH) learned with great sadness and pain the news of the death of Professor Antoine Lambert, former Director of Administrative Affairs at the Rectorate of the State University of Haiti.

A pleasant man, an extraordinary professional, Professor Antoine Lambert taught for several years at the Institute of African Studies and Research of Haiti (IERAH) and at the National Institute of Management Administration and Advanced International Studies. (INAGHEI). He also served as Secretary General of this Institute.

Those who knew him remember him as a great administrator endowed with great humility and professional competence combining know-how and interpersonal skills. Professor Lambert always showed great rigor, integrity and mastery in his management of public affairs.

The Rectorate of the UEH bows before his mortal remains and presents its deepest sympathies to the grieving family, particularly to his daughter Valérie, Executive at the level of the Central Administration of the UEH, to his former collaborators at the RUEH, to his former professor colleagues, to his former students of INAGHEI and IERAH, to the parents and friends affected by this unexpected mourning.

The funeral of the late professor will be sung at the Saint-Pierre Church (Pétion-Ville) on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. The exhibition will take place at 8:30 a.m.
