The Société du Rhum Barbancourt has become aware of rumors circulating on social networks concerning the illegal sale of bottles of 3-star Rum Barbancourt which have been thrown away and which are filled with another alcohol which would make you sick.

Our team is investigating tirelessly, but has not yet found any of these vials to test in the laboratory, nor any evidence from the capital's hospital to confirm this information.

We remind everyone that all Barbancourt products leave the factory after extensive quality control and laboratory testing, they are filtered and placed in bottles closed with gold plastic which is there to protect it. This is the guarantee that we give to our customers and consumers that the rum contained in the bottle meets all international safety criteria and standards and that it has not changed before they purchase it.
