iciHaiti - Security : All police officers in the country mobilized

Following the call for civil disobedience from former Senator-elect Guy Philippe, Frantz Elbé, Acting Director General of the Haitian National Police (PNH) announced the following measures:
"1.- Faced with recent threats of disturbances to public order, all police officers are, hereby, summoned to their assigned post until further notice with a view to guaranteeing public peace and tranquility, in accordance with the Constitution.
2.- The Central and Departmental Directors, the Commanders of Specialized Units are responsible for the strict application of this document and for reporting to General Directorate."
