iciHaiti - FITUR 2024 : Promotion of Haitian art as an element of the tourist offer

At the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) in Madrid, the 2nd largest tourism fair in the world where Haiti had a stand (from January 24 to 28, 2024), Luz Kurta Cassandra François, the Minister of Tourism of Haiti established contacts with the Karel gallery, Exhibitor in Europe of Caribbean paintings and with Madame Catherine Menelas, Promoter of Haitian crafts.
These art galleries plan to have several exhibitions including one next April in Madrid. A possibility for Haitian art to rise on the global scale.
Note that Haitian crafts were present at the Haitian stand which exhibited articles in cut iron, jewelry in horn and worked wood, paintings on canvas, beaded works etc...
