iciHaiti - Tourism : Towards positive communication and the search for investment opportunities 28/01/2024 09:25:27
On the agenda of the discussions, the development of a plan which will take into account internal and external communication in the times to come was discussed. The Minister is convinced that the change in image and perception must affect Haitians above all by putting aside their personal interests and working for the development of Haiti because instability can only generate poverty and insecurity. At the same time, the Haitian delegation present at the show took the opportunity to seek business opportunities for the tourism sector. Note the meeting of the Minister with Isabel Noriega, President of the Spanish-Haitian Chamber of Commerce in Madrid on possibilities for commercial exchanges in tourism. Should be noted that Haiti returns to the Madrid tourism fair this year to promote the Northern region which receives many tourists from the diaspora thanks to the numerous events organized by operators and thus to make it known that Haiti is still on the world tourist map.
