iciHaiti - Obituary : Former Minister of Justice Paul Denis passed away 12/03/2024 10:05:04
The disappearance of Paul Denis constitutes a great loss for our country. A vertical man, a free spirit, he always defended republican values and fought for change. He dedicated his entire life to the cause of the Haitian people, devoted himself with loyalty to the service of his country. The emblematic figure of Paul Denis will certainly be missed in the Haitian landscape. The Government of the Republic sends its most sincere condolences to his family, his loved ones, his political comrades and his former collaborators at the Ministry of Justice and Public Security. Jocelerme Privert : "I learned with great sadness the news of the death of our compatriot Paul Denis, former senator of the Republic and Minister of Justice and Public Security [...] I had the privilege of working with Paul in the private office of former President René Préval. Member of the board of the INITE political platform which endorsed my candidacy for the 2010 senatorial elections, I learned to work with him closely and to appreciate his love for the country and his sense of responsibility.
