iciHaiti - Grand'Anse : Reintegration of 46 schools into the school canteen program

A meeting was held in Jérémie (Dept. Grand'Anse), between the National School Canteen Program (PNCS), via its departmental office, the World Food Program (WFP), the Development Nutrition Office (BND) and the Ministry of National Education, around the 46 schools suspended since January 2024 following the problems faced by donors (partners) of the PNCS, in order to supply these schools.

During this fruitful meeting, WFP decided to take charge of the reintegration of schools benefiting from the canteen program in order to provide them with local food products.

Furthermore, Marcel Jeanty, PAM Representative in Grand'Anse, presented the criteria allowing these schools to benefit from the school canteen, highlighting the planned declaration code.
