Message from Marguerite Berthe Marescot : "The General Directorate regrets that, this year again, circumstances beyond its control deprive retired mothers in the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince of its traditional festive ceremony in their honor. However, arrangements have been made to allow all the municipal offices of the institution to celebrate in a special way our retired mothers from the towns of province. In this regard, being both a mother and General Director of ONA, I am very happy to be surrounded by such a large number of mothers who provide daily and tireless service to the institution's policyholders and pensioners. It is therefore with great pleasure that I wish them happiness, health, prosperity and progress on the occasion of Mother's Day. The ONA Directorate also takes this opportunity to wish a happy Mother's Day to the institution's retired mothers. Known for their hard work, their courage, their maternal love and weakened by hard work for many years, they have a legitimate right to recognition from the institution to guarantee them decent social benefits. This General Directorate would like to recall the place of choice that our retired mothers have always occupied in our society and the essential role that they have always played in the Haitian economy.
