Tuesday June 18, 2024, Phanel Louis, a Haitian citizen, was arrested by members of the Intelligence Service (G-2) and members of the Dominican Army, stationed at the military post "Santiago de la Cruz", (Province of Dajabon).

During checks, it was found that an arrest warrant issued on 02/24/2024 for attempted murder of three people in the community of Pignon had been issued against him and that he was actively sought, as indicated in a document from the Superior Council of the Judicial Power of Haiti (CSPJ).

Under military guard Phanel Louis, was handed over under certification to agents of the Haitian border police (PoliFRONT), led by Orelus Herard, representing Commissioner Jean Frenel Beauvoir, Commander of PoliFRONT, in the community of Ouanaminthe

The handover of the prisoner took place on the border bridge between Dajabón and Ouanaminthe, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Immigration and Customs.
