The General Directorate of the Executive Body of the National Telecommunications Council (CONATEL) informs of the granting of a 5-year license to NATCOM for the provision of IPTV service throughout the national territory.

NATCOM, a cellular telephone provider, has been operating in the market for 14 years. This license, already provided for in its concession dated July 22, 2020, will allow this operator to extend its service offering by introducing Internet protocol television (IPTV) services, thus offering an enriched and diversified digital television experience to the Haitian population.

CONATEL is convinced that this approach will help improve access to quality television content and promote technological innovation in the telecommunications sector.
