Devalis Octavius, the Minister of Youth and Sports, during her stay in France, met on July 25 in Paris with Michèle Kang, President of Olympique Lyonnais women, to explore avenues of technical cooperation for the benefit of Haitian women's football.

During this meeting, Ms. Kang, who showed great interest in Haitian women's football, was very enthusiastic about the idea of ​​contributing to the training of female football instructors and coaches who could facilitate the emergence of many talents like Melchie Daëlle Dumornay, for whom she did not hide her admiration.

Ms. Kang promised to continue the dialogue with Haitian sports leaders in order to define the terms of this partnership that will allow many more women to work on the development of Haitian women's football.

These negotiations initiated with the President of Olympique Lyonnais women illustrate the Minister's commitment and determination in favor of the active involvement of women in various fields.
