Borzor achieved the best time of his series with 10.26 seconds and is therefore qualified, and the best overall time among the 46 runners divided into 6 series. Let's remember that the world record is held by the Jamaican Usain Bolt with a time of 9.58 seconds For the rest of the competition in the 1st round, Christopher Borzor failed to qualify for the semi-final. Let's remember that to qualify for the semi-final you had to be in the first 3 of each series (Q) and the next 3 best times (q). He achieved the 5th best time of his series with 10.28 seconds and is therefore eliminated. The best time of his series was achieved by the American Fred Kerly with 9.97 seconds.
