iciHaiti - Education : Meeting between Minister Antoine and more than a hundred school directors

Augustin Antoine, the Minister of National Education, accompanied by the Director General of the Ministry Yves Roblin, met last week with more than a hundred directors of national schools and high schools of the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince.

During this meeting, the two highest authorities of the ministry discussed with the directors of these public schools the Government's ongoing efforts to facilitate the operation of these educational institutions and to ensure that many other private schools can operate better during the 2024-2025 school year.

In turn, Minister Antoine and Director Roblin made a series of points such as the schools that must return to their historic locations, the measures taken to help schools operate in better conditions with quality equipment, the regularization of teachers and the need for society to continue to defend the right of all children to go to school.

Jean-Robert Dossaint, Chief of Staff of the Minister of National Education, Departmental Director of Education of the West, Etienne Louisseul France and one of his deputies, Frantz Jean also participated in this meeting.
