James Enge, Secretary of State for Population and Human Development (BSEPDH), accompanied by several executives from the Secretariat, recently had a fruitful meeting with the Congolese Jean Pierre Makelele, Deputy Representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and his direct collaborators

James Enge, the Secretary of State took the opportunity to emphasize the importance of this partnership for Haiti. It was also a question of emphasizing the perspectives related to demographic issues and detailing the strategic priorities to be implemented.

This meeting was also an opportunity to discuss the partnership between the BSEPDH and the UNFPA to highlight possible synergies for a desirable impact while taking responsibility for evaluating the country's international commitments in terms of Population and human development.

This working session marks an important step towards maintaining and sustainably strengthening collaboration for the benefit of the population.
