The section of road connecting the Carrefour de la Brigade d’Intervention Motorisée (BIM) to Butte Boyer is currently being reprofiled by the Ministry of Public Works. This work aims to correct road surface degradation, such as potholes and irregularities that can compromise the safety of drivers and pedestrians. The nature of the work consists of reprofiling the section, with the addition of suitable materials to strengthen the structure of the road. Rehabilitation of the Lalue - Poste Marchand section : The Ministry of Public Works has begun rehabilitation work with the installation of hydraulic concrete on the Lalue - Poste Marchand axis (Ste Rose de Lima Institution Zone up to the Poste de Marchand). Creation of pedestrian crossings, road markings to ensure the protection of users, particularly schoolchildren. Reprofiling and resurfacing on the Ménard-Dondon axis : The Departmental Directorate of the North of the Ministry of Public Works is carrying out reprofiling and resurfacing work on the Ménard-Dondon axis aimed at restoring the shape of the roadway for better resistance to erosion, and resurfacing consisting of reinforcing the structure of the road with new materials. The Departmental Directorate of the North of the Ministry has mobilized specialized equipment such as graders and compactors to ensure the quality of this work, carried out in accordance with the technical standards in force.
