The return of the Haitian Diaspora Federation of Europe FEDHE started in October with various meetings in Paris and in the regions:

Friday, October 18, 2024 :

Jocelyn JEAN-LOUIS, Head of International Relations, participated in a meeting with Ms. Farrah D.T. JOSEPH, Director of the Investment Facilitation Center (CFI) in Paris, as part of the presentation of the "Haitian Business Advocates" (HBA) network with the aim of stimulating foreign direct investment in Haiti. On this occasion, Mr. JEAN LOUIS took the opportunity to congratulate the CFI for this initiative, and to inform it of FEDHE's willingness to contribute to the establishment of the network and the promotion of "CFI-Invest" through its European network.

Sunday, October 20, 2024 :

A delegation from FEDHE went to Lille for the closing of the 22nd edition of the Haitian Week, organized by the Haitian Community of Northern France association.

This trip to the North of France is part of one of FEDHE's main missions, which is to unite, support and promote the initiatives of actors from Haitian communities in Europe, who contribute to the cultural and historical influence of Haiti, as well as to the sustainable development of the country.

Saturday, October 26 :

Members of the office participated in the gala evening organized for the 20th anniversary of the Haiti Oise association, based in the commune of Creil, north of the Paris region.

For FEDHE it is essential to create and maintain the link between the different actors of the Haitian communities of Europe, in order to create the union that will make the strength of the members of the Haitian diaspora of Europe and elsewhere.
