On Monday, July 21, 2025, as part of the Haitian Armed Forces' institutional capacity building policy and the SABRE military partnership between France and Haiti, a contingent of 30 soldiers from the Haitian Armed Forces (FAd'H) left the country for Martinique to undertake a two-week specialized training course with the 33rd Marine Infantry Regiment (RIMa) of the Armed Forces in the Antilles.

This is the third training course in less than a year for the FAd'H. This initiative reflects the commitment of the Government in general and the Ministry of Defense in particular to train, professionalize, and increase the strength of the armed forces, building on international strategic partnerships. It demonstrates the excellence of bilateral relations and the shared commitment to regional security and stability.

The Ministry of Defense wishes to express its deep gratitude to France and to the French Ambassador to Haiti, Antoine Michon, for the technical, logistical, and educational support provided to our troops. This partnership contributes not only to improving the skills of our soldiers but also to establishing high operational standards within our armed forces.

The Ministry reaffirms its commitment to continuing this dynamic of continuous training, with a view to building strong, modern, and professional armed forces in the service of the Nation.
