iciHaiti - Politic : PM deplores acts of violence against the population

Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé deplores the acts of violence perpetrated by armed gangs against the civilian population in several neighborhoods of Port-au-Prince. Faced with this worrying situation that violates the fundamental rights of citizens, the Head of Government expresses his sympathy to the communities affected by the violence of armed gangs.
Faced with this situation, the Government renews its commitment to stem the tide of forced displacement by strengthening public security and coordinating urgent responses to humanitarian needs, supported by sustainable solutions.
With the support of several international partners, measures have already been taken by the Government to provide food and health assistance to displaced persons.
