"[...] Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear Partners, Members of the Haitian basketball family, Dear young people, enthusiasts, and lovers of the sport, Today, we proudly celebrate the 74th anniversary of the Haitian Basketball Federation. It is with deep emotion that I speak as President of this institution, which, for nearly three-quarters of a century, has proudly carried the flag for basketball in our country. We commemorate this anniversary in a difficult national context. Our youth, our families, and our institutions are put to the test daily. Yet, in this adversity, sport remains a refuge, a source of hope, a vehicle for peace and cohesion. Through 5x5 tournaments, 3x3 competitions, training programs, and national teams, we have laid the foundations for a revival in recent years. This work would not have been possible without the unwavering commitment of regional and private leagues, coaches, referees, teams, and our partners. I would like to sincerely thank you. Today, to symbolically and meaningfully mark the Federation's 74th anniversary, I have the immense pleasure of officially announcing the launch of the Haitian Basketball Federation website: www.fhbhaiti.org This website will be a modern showcase of our work, a dynamic platform for information, exchange, and promotion of Haitian talent. This site is a bridge between the past, present, and future of Haitian basketball. By launching this site, we are laying a new foundation in building a federation that is closer to its members and resolutely focused on the future. Long live Haitian basketball!
