On Tuesday, November 4th, 2025, during an official visit to Qatar, Laurent Saint-Cyr, President pro tempore and Coordinator of the Transition Council, accompanied by Monique André, President of the Normalization Committee of the Haitian Football Federation (FHF), proudly attended the U17 World Cup match between Haiti and Egypt (https://www.haitilibre.com/article-46139-haiti-mondial-qatar-2025-les-pharaons-imposent-une-severe-defaites-aux-grenadiers-[1-4]-video.html) and expressed his unwavering support for Haitian youth.

President Saint-Cyr praised the determination, talent, passion, and team spirit of these young Grenadiers, true symbols of courage, pride, unity, and hope for Haitian youth. He congratulated them on their performance and encouraged them to persevere in pursuing their dreams, convinced that their commitment, passion, and discipline already embody the promise of a brighter future for Haitian sports and youth.

Saint-Cyr affirmed his commitment to strengthening public investment in Haitian football, as well as in other sports, to provide every young Haitian athlete with the means for their development and success, and to contribute to the country's prestige.

Laurent Saint-Cyr wished our young Grenadiers every success for the rest of the competition and reiterated the pride and confidence of the entire nation.
