iciHaiti - ONA : Reforms, modernization and actions
Despite a context marked by some tensions, the National Old-Age Insurance Office (ONA) continues to make significant progress through structural reforms, modernization initiatives, and measures that benefit staff.

At the Hinche municipal office, several employees expressed their satisfaction with the implementation of the career development plan, which has enabled merit-based internal promotions and improved recognition of professional skills.

Furthermore, the ONA Employee Reform Group (GER-ONA) highlights a historic turning point initiated in February 2025, characterized by a notable improvement in internal governance, the acceleration of service digitization, employee empowerment, and more rigorous resource management.

As part of the Cash Management Program (PGC), training sessions were organized in Cap-Haïtien to modernize administrative procedures and strengthen staff technical skills.

On the logistical front, the ONA (National Old Age Insurance Office) delivered 8 Nissan Frontier pickup trucks to eight municipal offices, with the aim of strengthening the operational capacity of the Inspection Service and improving the effectiveness of field operations.

Finally, the GER-ONA commended the General Directorate for the revaluation of the debit card, a measure welcomed by employees in a particularly challenging economic climate.
