On Monday, March 16, 2026, Valéry Fils-Aimé, Minister of the Environment, accompanied by Joseph Emmanuel Philippe, Director General of the Ministry, officially presented 81 letters of appointment and 31 letters of promotion to Ministry officials during a ceremony.

These administrative decisions aim to strengthen the central and departmental directorates, as well as the National Solid Waste Management Service (SNGRS), thereby contributing to the Ministry's increased efficiency.

In his remarks, the Minister welcomed the newly appointed officials and congratulated the promoted staff for their competence. He also commended the efforts of his predecessor, Moïse Fils Jean-Pierre, who had initiated the process of rejuvenating the institution, a dynamic he intends to continue by valuing competence, commitment, and a sense of public service.

Aware of the numerous environmental challenges facing the country, Minister Valéry Fils-Aimé urged the recipients to assume their responsibilities with rigor, discipline, and determination in order to contribute effectively to the Ministry's mission.

He assured them that his office, his Cabinet, and the Directorate General would remain fully committed to supporting the staff in fulfilling their respective missions.
