The exchanges between the two men made it possible to explore the prospects for boosting bilateral trade relations. In addition, the interlocutors stressed the importance for Haiti to diversify its economic partnerships, relying on preferential mechanisms such as the HELP law, in order to strengthen the resilience of its economy. Furthermore, particular attention was paid to the textile sector, identified as a strategic lever.
