MJSAC : 50 young leaders trained in strategic management of associations

On Friday, May 8, 2026, in Frères (Pétion-ville), the Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Civic Action (MJSAC), through its Youth and Integration Directorate, held a certificate presentation ceremony for 50 committed young people (25 men and 25 women) who had completed a training program in strategic management of associations.

Organized from April 20 to 24, 2026, this 20-hour session brought together participants from several municipalities in the Port-au-Prince metropolitan area, including Delmas, Carrefour, Pétion-ville, and Croix-des-Bouquets.

The participants completed modules on association leadership, strategic planning, project management, association marketing, and community development. Each participant received a certificate signed by Minister Pythagore Dumas and the Acting Director General of the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC), Jean Claude Douyon.

Several representatives from the Ministry commended the participants' commitment and discipline throughout the training. Members of the Minister's staff, on behalf of the Minister, encouraged the young people to continue their training, develop their skills, and play an active role in their respective communities. In line with Prime Minister Fils-Aimé's vision, they also emphasized the importance of leadership, networking, and knowledge transfer in building a responsible and engaged youth.

This activity, characterized by a friendly atmosphere and respect for gender parity among the participants, reflects the Ministry's commitment to promoting a better-supported youth, better prepared for the challenges faced by the country.
