On Tuesday, July 14, 2026, Patrick Massenat, Secretary General of the Haitian Football Federation (FHF), announced that the Federation had reached an agreement with the national team coach, Frenchman Sébastien Migné, amicably ending their collaboration.

"The Haitian Football Federation wishes to acknowledge the professionalism, commitment, and dedication demonstrated by Coach Migné throughout his tenure at the helm of the men’s national team (28 matches, 9 losses, 5 draws, and 14 wins).

His tenure will be particularly remembered for the Grenadiers’ promotion to the Nations League A, qualification for the 2025 Gold Cup, and Haiti’s historic qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, a major achievement that allowed the entire Nation to return to the world’s most prestigious competition, fifty-two years after its first participation."

This decision, made in a spirit of mutual respect and dialogue, allows each party to calmly move forward to the next stage of their journey.

The Haitian Football Federation warmly thanks Sébastien Migné for his contribution to the development of Haitian football and extends its best wishes for continued success in his professional career.
