As part of efforts to strengthen skills and professionalize Haitian diplomacy, 10 students from the Jean Price-Mars Diplomatic Academy and 5 officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are currently participating in a two-week training program in the Kingdom of Morocco.

Organized at the Moroccan Institute for Training, Research, and Diplomatic Studies (IMFRED), this training is part of the International Ad Hoc Training Cycle in Diplomacy for Haitian diplomats, scheduled from September 21 to October 2nd, 2026.

The program offers participants an immersion in several areas related to diplomatic practice and contemporary issues in international relations, including the priorities of Moroccan diplomacy, negotiation techniques, crisis management, protocol and ceremonial, and public speaking.

The training also includes discussions on South-South cooperation, food security, the energy transition, sustainable development, and economic diplomacy.

Institutional and cultural visits are also planned, notably to the Hassan Tower, the Oudayas, the Tangier-Med Port, and the "Rue des Consuls" (Consuls' Street).

Through this initiative, the Jean Price-Mars Diplomatic Academy reaffirms its commitment to the training, professional development, and skills enhancement of current and future Haitian diplomats.
