The Finance Act finally passed

The Chamber of Deputies voted Thursday, April 12, 2012, the Finance Bill deposited in Parliament in February by 56 votes for, 2 against and 3 abstentions. The Deputy Rodon Bien-aimé welcomed the vote and hopes that "the Finance Act of the next fiscal year is a budget of program and not a budget of means". This vote intervenes to nearly five months of the end of the fiscal year

Haïtel apologizes...

The mobile phone company Haïtel SA whose service had been suspended without notice, apologizes to its valued customers and staff in general. Explaining that this interruption results from various problems it faces and wishes to advise that it is doing its best to improve this situation among the concerned institutions. The Japanese discuss of thyeit presence in Haiti

A delegation of representatives from the Japanese Ministries of Defence and Foreign Affairs met this week, the Special Representative of Secretary-General of the UN in Haiti Mariano Fernández and the Deputy Special Representative and Humanitarian Coordinator, Mr. Nigel Fisher. The focus of discussion, was he various activities of the Japanese contingent, including the contingent of engineering and the need to maintain their presence in Haiti, given the current political and humanitarian situation. The Japanese delegation also discussed the various options for thegradual transfer of expertise in engineering and management at the Ministry of Public Work and to the other partners involved in the engineering work carried out by JAPENGCOY.
