Haiti and Ecuador on Thursday signed an agreement on cooperation in tourism. The agreement includes the collaboration in the management of natural and monumental heritage, the tourism conscious, the certification and training.

Continuous training of lawyers
As part of the continuous training of lawyers, the Law Society of Port-au-Prince in collaboration with the Québec Bar, hosted a panel discussion on the theme "Alternative modes of dispute resolutions in Haiti" Me Carlos Hercules, the President of the Bars Federation of Haiti (FBH) explained "It is to train young lawyers to provide people in conflict, a structure to enable them to resolve their disputes without the need to appear before a court."

The AGD and DGI will interconnect
As part of the modernization and revitalization of their institution, the General Administration of Customs (AGD) nd the Directorate General of Taxes (DGI) intend to proceed to a computer interconnection of their information. They also plan to implement a number of measures including : a system of online payment, strengthening the screening of taxpayers in default, and the strict enforcement of forced recovery measures.
