6th Edition of the "Fair traditional Georges Liautaud"

Iron sculpture is honored at the 6th edition of the "Fair traditional Georges Liautaud" to be held at the workshop Serge Jolimeau at Village artistic Noailles (Croix-des-Bouquets), 5, 6 and 7 October 2012. On this occasion the foundation AfricAméricA invites you to the opening of an exhibition-sale of works of four great artists : the duo Kongo Lawouse : David Boyer and Dubréus Lhérisson of Bel-Air, buttons, beads, sequins and recycled materials ; Jn-Baptiste of village Noailles, sequins and beads and Jose Delpé of village Noailles, metal sculpture and recycled materials. The opening will take place on Saturday 6 from 10am at Musée Georges Liautaud, at the village Noailles.

Fraud alert program PSUGO

The Ministry of Education, informs all school principals, of non-public schools, interested in the Universal Schooling Program, Free and Compulsory (PSUGO), that no financial contribution is required by the Ministry for a school wishing to integrate this program. "Any amount claimed by any third party for such a service involves corruption. These practices must be denounced so that sanctions be taken in accordance with the laws in force in the matter. The judicial authorities are already aware and will intervene shortly with the utmost rigor against the corruption."

Laurent Lamothe meets the private sector

Thursday morning, the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe organized a meeting with a group of the private business sector. During this meeting the Prime Minister stated that the private sector must create jobs and government social programs. Reginald Boulos, President of Boulos Group, said that the meeting with the government has must become an engine for the development of SMEs in Haiti. Stephan Coles, President of Coles affirmed for his part that the annual shortfall at Customs is of 200 million U.S. dollars...

Follow-up meeting with Laura Graham

The Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe met Thursday, Laura Graham, Chief of Staff of the Clinton Foundation, the purpose of the meeting was to follow up on the various activities of the last week in New York.
