Protection agreement of Historical Park North

Two Haitian mayors in Quebec

Elected several times and sometimes by acclamation, two Haitian from Jacmel, are Mayors of cities of Amos and Mont-Laurier, Quebec, although these cities have very few residents belonging to visible minorities. They are Mr. Cherubin [69] Mayor of Amo since 2002 and M.Adrien [66] Mayor of Mont-Laurier.

World Earth Day

"Latè ap pale avèn, koutel" (The earth speaks to us, we must listen it), is the theme chosen by the Ministry of Environment, April 22 to celebrate the World Earth Day. Among the activities planned for this event, in addition to a march organized with departure at Ministry to the Champ de Mars, Morne Garnier, in Canapé-Vert will be reforested in order to make a botanical garden.

Inauguration of the representation of SEMANAH in "Ça ira"

Recently, the Directorate General of Maritime and Navigation Service (SEMANAH) has proceeded the inauguration of its representation in "Ça ira" in the town of Léogâne. During this event, 425 jackets have been given to shipowners, ship captains and sailors of cabotage serving this town, for the safety of passengers and crew members.
