CONATEL closes 7 radio stations
This week, officials of the Regional Office in Artibonite of the National Council of Telecommunications (CONATEL) proceeded to the closure of 7 radio stations (Radio Intrépide, Radio Etincelles, Radio Sensation, Radio Mélomane, Radio Tanbou, Radio/Télé Vitamine and Radio Mégamax) which according to them do not meet the conditions. Other radio stations should be affected by this measure, while the owners of these radios have protested against the intervention of CONATEL, they describe as arbitrary.

Do not call if it's not for a complaint

NOTICE for travel agencies
The Interior Ministry reminds that Immigration Officers are appointed by Commission of President of the Republic to mediate between people traveling Abroad or from Haiti and the Directorate of Immigration and of Emigration (DIE), under the decree of 21 December 1970 governing travel Agencies. Noting that this mission does not grant the right to traffic and/or makes circulate passports forms near the DIE in Lalue. The National Police of Haiti was instructed for the purpose of taking appropriate action against the owners of travel agencies or their agents engaged in such practices.
