Cancellation of amendments to the electoral law ?
The Senator Andris Riché, Vice President of the Senate, recommends to the Executive to cancel the amendments made by the deputies at the Electoral Act 2013, if he wants to facilitate the holding of elections. What will allow, according to him, to the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) to have a legal framework to organize the elections at the end of this year or early 2015.
2nd Workshop on the White Paper on Defence
Tuesday at the Royal Oasis, under the leadership of President Martelly, the Ministry of Defense launched the 2nd Workshop on the Development of the White Paper on Defence and Security for the Economic and Sustainable Social Development of Haiti. Vocational training for Île-à-Vache
Monday at Southern Regional Office of Tourism, within the framework of a partnership between the National Vocational Training Institute (INFP), the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) and the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Industries (MTIC) took place the launch of a training seminar "technical educational for trainers. This one-week training is an opportunity for those responsible to choose the different teachers, who will work within the framework of training program for the people of the Île-à-Vache which will start in the month of October. Note that this program is the result of tourism development project on the Île-à-Vache where 200 young people will be trained in: Building Construction, Building Plumbing, domestic electrical and IT office.
Distribution of School Kits to the Montfort Institute
Monday, Gérald Oriol Jr., Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH) has distributed 238 school kits to Montfort Institute, specializing in the education of deaf children. The children received school bags and classic supplies through collaboration between BSEIPH and the Ministry of Education.
