13 Haitians arrested in Ecuador

Arrival of a cargo of fertilizer

Saturday at the Terminal Varreux in Port-au-Prince, Fresner Dorcin the Minister of Agriculture and representatives of Agroservice SA, attended the reception of the first arrivals (46%) of a cargo of fertilizer, 4,170 tons of Granular Urea. Agroservice SA who signed the establishment agreement with the Haitian State on December 3, under the Investment Code, is designed to make mixing and bagging on site of fertilizers for distribution at national level and also for export to the countries of CARICOM. This investment of $10 million was made by a group of Haitian businessmen with capital contributions and expertise of reputable firms in the supply of fertilizers and specialized in industrial buildings in many countries. The mixing and bagging plant located in Saint-Marc, will be operational by June 2015.

Evaluation of the quality of works at Ciné Triomphe

Saturday in the perspective of assessing the quality of the work funded by the BRH, the Prime Minister Paul Evans conducted an assessment visit of development works of Ciné Triomphe and of Kiosk Occide Jeanty. These rehabilitation work of the Ciné triomphe are financed by the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH) to the tune of 5 million US dollars.
