Haiti - Economy : Martelly at the 10th World Economic Forum on Latin America

The Presidency's Communication Office informs the population in general that the President of the Republic, Michel Martelly, has left the country, Wednesday, May 6, 2015, to Mexico to attend the 10th World Economic Forum on Latin America.

Let's recall that this 10th Forum that will bring together 750 business leaders and 20 ministers from 11 countries, including the USA and the countries of Asia and Europe will focus on the challenges of regional slowdown and reflect on the conditions "less favorable" than Latin America pass through, among others due to the sharp drop in oil prices and slower growth in China, one of its main major trading partners of the Zone. https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-13723-haiti-politic-president-martelly-will-attend-the-world-economic-forum.html

During his stay in Mexico, the President of the Republic will take advantage to discuss among others with his Mexican counterpart, Mr. Enrique Peña Nieto.
