iciHaiti - Environment : College Frère Roc won 1st Prize of the Art Competition
The Swiss Embassy in Haiti who had launched as part of the Quinzaine de la Francophonie 2015, an art contest, made from recycled waste, aimed at educating young students aged 10 to 15 years from 10 schools in Port-au-Prince, on issues related to the environment and particularly waste management, proceeded to the awards ceremony in the presence of Dithny Joan Raton, the Minister of Culture.

It's the College Frère Roc that won the First Prize (A computer room with 10 computers) with a work entitled "Robot Anti-Garbage".

The 2nd Prize was awarded to the College Mixte Little Brother of Jesus while the National School Thomas Madiou received the 3rd Prize.

The Minister Raton, did not hide her emotion at the creative capacity, of children and welcomed the initiative of the Embassy of Switzerland for organizing this competition which not only raises awareness about a major problem but also allows detect promising young artisans.
