iciHaiti - Social : D-7, meeting around the repatriation of our compatriots

On Monday, Prime Minister, Evans Paul had an important working meeting with representatives of UN agencies around the contingency plan relating to the repatriation case of our compatriots of the Dominican Republic, after 17 June 2015, registration deadline limit for foreigners to the National Plan for Regularization of Foreigners (PNRE) living illegally in neighboring Republic.
Friday, a delegation from the Haitian authorities will visit the Dominican Republic to discuss with the authorities, among other, of crossing points as part of possible repatriation to Haiti.
Evans Paul reiterated the government's commitment to adopt measures to deal with this situation and to provide assistance to returnees.
