Friday evening, as part of the 13th edition of the Gold Cup at Gillette Stadium in Boston front 465,720 fans, the Grenadiers after making a draw Tuesday against Panama https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-14450-icihaiti-football-gold-cup-panama-haiti-%5B1-1%5D.html , confronted the US for their second match of the competition and the 17th time in their history against the United States since April 3, 1954, first game [3-2 for the USA] and the final match on 11 July 2009 [2-2]

The United States secured their qualification for the quarterfinals, beating the Grenadiers [1-0] on a goal in the second period of Clint Dempsey to the 64'.

Note that Jimmy Albert, the Minister of Youth, Sports was present at this match and that he accompanied our national team to the locker room before the game.

Monday, June 13, Haiti will play another match against Honduras at the Sporting Park, Kansas City
Tuesday, June 14, in the last match of Group A, the United States will meet Panama.
