The International Meeting of Francophone Chess organized by the International Association of Francophone Chess (AIDEF) allowing francophones chess players around the world to get together to participate in a convivial and friendly manner in various competitions and activities.

After Marrakech in 2013, Beirut in 2014, this year it is Montreal which welcomed the 17 to 27 July 2015 the 3rd Competition where nearly 220 players from 23 countries and 4 continents participated. All competitions were approved by the International Chess Federation (FIDE) and were reserved only to players holders of a national code of the FIDE of one of countries whose an organization is a member of AIDEF.

A delegation of five chess players, led by Jean Lamothe, President of the Haitian Federation of Chess (FHE) represented Haiti in this Championship, which was held at the Delta Hotel in Montreal.

Mondoly Sanon (35 years), current national champion of Haiti, playing chess since the age of 8 years, has reached the level of "master candidate" during the 3rd International Championship.
