According to the former colonel and former Minister of Youth, Himmler Rébu, the publication of preliminary results of the first round of elections, could be the beginning of a wave of violence, which could be generalized and spread throughout the territory. 

Moreover, before such an eventuality,  he doubts that the National Police of Haiti (PNH) is able to restore order and take control of the situation.
