iciHaiti - Culture : D-5, Haitian fashion designers are at work
To 5 days of the opening in Haiti, of the most important cultural event of the Caribbean, Haitian designers are preparing to receive designers of Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago, Guadeloupe and Guyana among others.

A parade will be held on Street Saint-Honoré and each designer will present a piece. Fashion shows will be held daily at the Grand Market. A white parade will be held on the night of August 22 to 23, to mark 224 years of the general uprising of slaves. Haitian designers also plan a show of hairstyle and makeup.

Also, remember that it will be on August 22 at 11:00 am that will take place the opening of the exhibition "Share Memory" at the National Pantheon Museum (MUPANAH). This exhibition retraces the period of the Indian presence and that of slavery until the 1804 revolution. The exhibition will be open to the public from 2 pm. Conferences and meetings are planned to MUPANAH as part of this exhibition.
