Saturday, as part of her official visit to Spain, the Haitian delegation led by Joan Dithny Raton, the Minister of Culture met with Reynaldo Fernandez Manzano, Director of Alhambra Monument (classified World Heritage Site), located Granada. The management of the National History Park in Haiti has been the focus of discussion. The exchanges took place around the experience of the two entities in the management of their heritage assets in the context of a partnership between the Alhambra Management Unit and managers of National Historic Park.

Also the day before, the Secretary of State for International Cooperation and Latin America and Dithny Joan Raton took stock of the Spanish cooperation in Haiti in culture, a key sector to promote sustainable human development. These activities include include the work of the School-Workshop and the Technical Office of the historical center, in the city of Jacmel and institution-building projects in the field of heritage conservation or contributions channeled through the Spain-UNESCO Fund.
