Following the death on 12 September of François Max Gesner Beauvoir, supreme leader of voodoo https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-15125-haiti-flash-max-beauvoir-passed-away-a-great-loss-for-the-country-dixit-martelly.html 18 voodoo organizations spread throughout the territory named Augustin Saint Clou as acting Supreme Leader of voodoo. His s main task will be to organize elections for a new National Chief, within 90 days.

The new acting supreme leader, has called for unity and peace among all members of voodoo and even those who do not share the same beliefs, to work together for the development of Haiti.

The submission of applications is open from 30 September 2015.
