iciHaiti - Literature : 3rd International Book Fair in Haiti

The 3rd edition of the International Book Fair in Haiti (FILHA), organized by the National Directorate of the Book (DNL) will take place from December 11 to 13, 2015 on Place Pétion at Champ de Mars.

The guest of honor of this 3rd Edition is the writer Yanick Lahens, an edition that will also be honored with the presence of world famous American writer Russell Banks.

Many Haitian authors will participate in this edition, including Rodney St Eloi, newly admitted to the Académie des lettres du Québec and Dany Laferrière, of the French Academy.

Besides Quebec authors such Natasha Kanapé Fontaine, Yara El-Ghadban and Perrine Leblanc, this International Fair will host authors from many countries: Venezuela, Cuba, Martinique and Belgium among others.

The cocktail reception will be given on December 10 at Le Plaza hotel.
